God made it work out for the best. I bet that just how Joseph felt on the first night he was slung into the cramped rat infested, disease ridden, stinking, cell. I am sure as he settled down for the night on his lovely bug ridden bed of straw he felt completely blessed. I bet as he slurped his occasional meal of rancid slop into his aching stomach he could barley stop himself from jumping with joy. Yes there he does shouting, “Whoopee look God made it work out for the best.” Or maybe like me he at the times when he was lowest he couldn’t help wondering “where is God in all this?” In the times when you are lonely, in the times when things just don’t seem to go right, it is quite natural to wonder how can God make this work out for the best? At times like this we must draw strength from our Christian ancestry and people like Joseph. People who God was able to direct and have things turn out for the best for. And Joseph is not on his own either all soughts of Christians seemed to have hit rock bottom just before God was able to help them rise and fly with the eagles again.
